If anyone is wondering what wedding photographers do in the “off” season, this shoot would be one example! Living in the Pacific Northwest, our off season is typically full of cold rainy days, but we sure got lucky with this amazing boho elopement, nothing but dry skies and sunshine!
Myself and my amazing friend/photographer Sarah of Sarah Gonia Photography decided to put together this amazing styled shoot. We started with some ideas and Pinterest Boards and then put out a model call to find our couple. Sarah found an amazing florist, Shannon of Floral Noir, to put together our bouquet and amazing floral crown! Her vision for the flowers was executed beautifully, and we receive a bouquet that was more than we could of asked for! Seriously, I would love to work with her again and would encourage brides to seek her out for their floral needs! You are guaranteed to receive an amazing bouquet that is truly a vision of art! We found an amazing location in Pt. Defiance Park, it is full of so many awesome textures and is an ideal location for photos! It features a rose garden, pagoda, lots of trees and is close by to Owens Beach (we did another elopement shoot there too!) My favorite part of the shoot though was our couple! Marionette’s dress was gorgeous and Cory’s outfit fit the mood perfectly. I enjoyed getting to know them better and see the strong connection between them. They were a breeze to photograph and shared a lot of smiles, laughter and love together throughout the shoot. I can’t wait to put together more styled shoots in the future! If you have an idea for one, contact me! Let’s collaborate! I would LOVE to help put your vision together and document it! HUGE thank you to Sarah for helping put this together, and to Marionette and Cory for getting in front of our cameras!
